Bissell's extension wand, part 2032666, adds roughly an arm's length of reach between the hose and whichever tool is on the end. It is what makes ceiling corners, the tops of door frames, ceiling fan blades and the gap under a low sofa reachable without dragging the whole machine around after you.
It is a part that gets lost more often than broken. Where it does fail it fails at the joint: a cracked collar or worn latch means the wand keeps parting company with the hose mid-job, and the leak at that joint costs suction at the tool.
It fits a broad run of Bissell uprights, among them the 1813, 1820 and 1825, the 2043 series, the 2252 to 2256 and 2258 to 2260 models, the 2316, 2410, 2488 to 2491, the 3332, 3583, 3918, 4207 and 9595, and the PowerForce 1700, 1701, 2190 and 2191.
