Bissell Latch - Water Tank ...

$6.99

Product details

The water tank latch from Bissell's ProHeat 2X carpet cleaners, part 2036681. It is the catch that holds the tank down on the machine, and it takes a knock every time the tank comes off to be filled or emptied, which on a ProHeat is often.

Latches break at the hook or lose their spring, and a tank that is not properly clamped does not seat on its seals. The machine then draws air past the tank rather than solution through it, so the spray fades, and a tank that lifts as you work can slop water down the back of the unit. A latch that has to be held to keep the tank down is already failing.

It fits the ProHeat 2X 8920, 8930, 9200, 9300 and 9400 and their lettered variants, plus the 1383.
