Product details

Lower hose assembly with duct and cuff for the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser 1650 series, part 1608844. It measures roughly 8.8 inches and arrives with the cuff and screw, covering the 1650, 1650A, 1650C, 1650P, 1650R, 1650W, 16501, 16502 and 16508.

This short hose is the link between the floor nozzle and the body of the vacuum, and it flexes every time the machine is reclined. That constant articulation is what eventually splits it, generally at the concertina near the cuff. Air then enters below the dirt cup, and the floor head loses suction even though the hose attachment and the tools still pull normally.

Pet hair also packs this section hard. Before ordering, unclip it and hold it up to the light; a solid plug of hair feels identical to a dead vacuum from the handle.
