Product details

Pulling the trigger on a Big Green does not open a mechanical tap, it energizes a solenoid valve, and part 2037436 is that valve. It is the solution control valve for the 86T3 steamer and the BG10, and our fitment data also covers the 10N2, 40M1 and 3288.

A solenoid fails closed or fails open, and both are obvious once you know what to listen for. Failed closed, you get the click and no solution. Failed open, or held open by a piece of grit sitting on the seat, solution keeps trickling out after you let go of the trigger and soaks one patch of carpet while the machine stands still.

Fit it dry, with the tank off and the line drained, and check the seals at both unions before you refill.
