We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The stretchy hose that lifts off the back of the machine to feed the crevice tool and upholstery brush is ordered as part 2038049. It fits the Bissell 68C7 PowerForce Helix Turbo and the 98N4 upright.
It leads a rough life because it is designed to stretch, and eventually it splits or pulls away from a cuff. The result is a tool end that does nothing at all while the floor head keeps working perfectly, which is what sends most people looking at the tools rather than at the hose.
Check it stretched out rather than relaxed, and check both ends where it clips in, since most failures are at the connections rather than in the middle. Clear any blockage while the hose is off the machine: a plug of debris behaves exactly like a split.
