We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. On Bissell's Big Green machines the water separator is the dirty tank lid assembly, complete with its carry handle, and part 1605234 is the replacement. It sits on top of the recovery tank and keeps recovered water out of the vacuum motor while still letting air through.
When the assembly cracks or its seals harden, recovery falls away. Dirty water stays in the carpet, the tank fills more slowly than the job suggests it should, and at worst water starts finding a path toward the motor. That handle taking the weight of a full tank of dirty water is usually what cracks it in the first place.
It fits the Big Green machine 86T3 and 40M1, the 10N2 commercial extractor, the 3288 and the BG10. Current production has a translucent body rather than the clear one earlier machines shipped with.
