Bosch Power Nozzle Motor - ...

Product details
This is the motor that drives the brush roll inside the Wessel Werk EBK340 power nozzle, the head supplied with Bosch canister vacuums such as the BSG81296 and BSG81380UC. Ordered as part 10.9011-319, it replaces a nozzle motor that has burned out, seized, or begun drawing enough current to trip the canister.
A dying nozzle motor announces itself. There is a hot electrical smell after a few minutes of use, a grinding or high whine from the head, or a brush roll that stops turning while the canister carries on as normal. Because the suction still comes from the canister, people often keep cleaning and only notice afterwards that the carpet looks flat and unlifted.
Check first that the belt is intact and the brush roll turns freely, since both faults mimic a failed motor. If the motor is genuinely at fault, this is the direct replacement for the EBK340 head on those Bosch machines.
