We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Height adjustment on the Titan T3200 pivots on a shaft, and part B283-5600 is the pivot axle that lets the mechanism tilt the nozzle up away from the floor or drop it back down. The same part fits the Carpet Pro CPU250 and CPU350, the Riccar and Simplicity S20EZM, as well as the Fuller Brush FBEZM.
This is the setting buyers notice fastest on a used or worn machine. Set the nozzle too high and the brush no longer makes contact deep enough in the pile to agitate it; set it too low and the machine fights you to push while the roller drags in the pile. Once the axle wears or bends, the head stops holding whatever setting you leave it at: it sinks under load on its own, the lever feels loose and vague, or the nozzle sits lower on one side than the other.

A new axle gives the height mechanism a solid pivot to turn on again, so the nozzle stays at the height you set instead of drifting. This is a mechanical wear part rather than an electrical or motor component, so it fails gradually rather than all at once, and a machine that has always adjusted smoothly is a good candidate to have it checked at the first sign of drift.
