We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Carrying a full-size upright up a flight of stairs puts the entire weight of the machine onto one moulded grip, which is exactly why a split carrying handle is such a routine repair. Part 5145HG is the light gray handle SEBO uses on the AUTOMATIC X1 and X2 and on the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2.
A handle that flexes under load or has cracked at a screw boss is worth changing before it lets go mid-lift. The crack almost always starts at a fixing point rather than across the span, so run a thumb around the bosses when the machine is next apart. The replacement picks up the original mounting points on the housing, so nothing needs to be drilled or shimmed, and the job is done from the outside with the machine unplugged. Handles rarely fail without warning: a grip that creaks under load has already started to go, and the sound is worth acting on before a full machine is hanging from it.
