This genuine SEBO Dust Bag Housing Locking Catch in gray-black secures the bag housing door on the G1, G2, X1, and X2 vacuums, holding the compartment closed so it stays sealed during use. It is the latch that keeps the bag chamber shut.
When the catch cracks or its tension weakens, the housing door can spring open or fail to seat fully, breaking the airtight seal and letting suction and dust escape. A new OEM catch re-secures the door and restores a sealed bag compartment.
