Cen-Tec Power Nozzle Guide ...

Product details

Part 32-7605-07 is a two-prong, 15-watt, 120-volt light bulb, the small guide light mounted behind the lens on a wide range of central vacuum power nozzle heads. When the headlight on a power nozzle goes dark this bulb is almost always the culprit, since the wiring feeding it rarely fails on its own.

Cen-Tec's CT12, CT14, CT16, CT18, CT20 and CT14DXQD nozzles all use this bulb, as do Beam's Butler, Classic and Rugmaster power heads and Hoover's WindTunnel line. NuTone lists it for the 398, 598, 599, CT600 and CT650, and VacuMaid calls for it on the Supergroom II along with its EB210, EB240, EB245 and EB250 nozzles. A separate compatibility record ties the same bulb to a long run of Eureka and Sanitaire power nozzles, among them the 4684AT, 4688ATV and the C2094 family.

Confirm the base style against the old bulb before buying rather than trusting wattage alone. Two-prong sockets and other guide-light bases are not interchangeable, so a bulb that matches on wattage but not on base style will sit loose in the socket or fail to seat at all.

A bulb that lights but flickers under vibration is usually loose in its two-prong socket rather than actually failing, and reseating it firmly is worth trying before ordering a replacement. Once a bulb has actually burned out it will not relight no matter how the nozzle is jostled, which is the clearest sign the bulb itself, rather than the wiring behind it, is the problem.
