We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This 16-inch wide-track bottom plate is the base panel under the nozzle on Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights, part 25672A. It carries the brush roll cutout, sets the seal against the carpet, and takes the daily scraping and impact a lower panel absorbs on a machine that gets pushed across commercial floors every day.
The plate warps, cracks around a mounting hole, or wears thin at the brush cutout long before the rest of the machine shows its age. Once it is out of shape the housing no longer sits flat, the belt and brush roll pick up uneven wear, and suction at the nozzle drops because the seal against the floor is compromised.

Because the bottom plate sits between the housing and the carpet, it takes the impact of every threshold, furniture leg, and dropped edge a commercial machine meets in a day. A worn plate is easy to overlook during a quick inspection since the damage faces down, so it is worth turning the machine over periodically to check the plate rather than waiting for a suction complaint to prompt a look.
Swap the gasket at the same time if it has not been replaced recently, since a fresh plate seated against a flattened gasket will not seal any better than the one it replaced.
