We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. A cracked top panel does more damage to a commercial upright's daily usability than its cosmetic role might suggest. Part 799176 replaces that panel on Sanitaire 684E-series machines, arriving with the correct model decal already applied rather than as a blank piece of plastic waiting on a badge.
This panel does double duty, latching the bag compartment shut while also carrying the model identification anyone servicing or restocking the machine relies on. Corners and hinge points take the worst of it on a route where the machine gets set down hard, stood on for reach, and occasionally caught in a doorway, and plastic there gives out before anywhere else on the panel does. Once the latch stops catching cleanly, the bag compartment no longer closes the way it was built to, leaving a cover that flaps loose on a machine still being pushed through a building day after day.

A panel patched with tape or carrying a partial crack can keep a machine technically running, but it leaves a weak point that catches on doorframes and eventually fails outright, usually at an inconvenient moment mid-shift rather than back at the shop. Arriving pre-decaled means the top of the machine looks correct again immediately, without a mismatched or blank panel sitting on an otherwise complete machine.
