We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Every SEBO upright pushes its exhaust through a filter on the way out of the body, and something has to hold that filter still. On red-trimmed AUTOMATIC X4 and AUTOMATIC X4 Boost machines the job belongs to 5711DR, a red plastic panel with no filtering role of its own.
It earns its keep by geometry. Shut, it squares the pleated pack up against its recess so there is one route out of the machine. Loosened, cracked or short of a lug, it lets the pack tilt and hands the airstream a shortcut around the outside edge. Owners tend to notice the consequences before the cause: a fine bloom of dust on the baseboard behind where the vacuum stands, or a filter that looks far too clean for the hours on it.
Damage is almost always mechanical. The panel gets opened at every filter service, and if it is worked loose with a screwdriver instead of by hand, the retaining lugs give way one after another.
