Product details

Part C283-3100 is the brush roll for the Clean Max Nitro commercial upright and the Fuller Brush FBEZM, and it also fits the Riccar and Simplicity S20EZM.

Worn agitation is the most common reason an upright stops cleaning carpet properly. The bristles are what rake the pile open so airflow can lift what is trapped at the base of the fibers, and once they have worn short the machine skates over grit instead of loosening it. Carpets start looking dull and flattened even straight after vacuuming. Bearings are the other failure, and a roller that has begun to bind will throw belts and scorch them.

A fresh brush roll is the single change that makes the most visible difference to pickup on high-traffic carpet. Check the belt at the same time, since a tired belt on a new roller will not hold speed for long.
