Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Red AUTOMATIC X4 machines were finished with red detailing, and 5645AM is the matching upper handle: gray black with red, delivered as one wired assembly holding the tube, the cord and the switch. It is the section that sits above the bag compartment, and it is where a hand rests through every minute of use.
Repair shops tend to fit the whole section rather than pieces of it, because the components inside age at much the same rate. Years of unplugging a machine by pulling on its cord leave the wires weakened right where they enter the grip, switch contacts burn and stick after enough operations, and by that stage the tube is usually carrying a hairline split as well. Doing the work once with a complete handle beats opening the same casing three times across a couple of seasons.

Run the replacement cord the way the original was routed inside the tube, and make certain its strain relief sits properly before the casing goes back together. A cord pinched at that point will fail again in the same place within a season.
