Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This right-hand bottom plate latch (part 35446003) fits Hoover Convertible uprights, including models 1030, U7019, U7021, U7039, U7041, U7043.1, and U7077. It secures the right side of the nozzle bottom plate so the brush roll housing stays closed while you clean.
A latch that has cracked or lost spring tension lets the bottom plate sag open during use, and air then bypasses the nozzle instead of pulling through the brush roll. The result is lost suction right at the floor. A new right-hand latch snaps the plate shut again for a tight seal.

- Tip: inspect the belt and brush roll while the plate is open
