We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This right-hand bottom plate latch (part 35446003) fits Hoover Convertible uprights, including models 1030, U7019, U7021, U7039, U7041, U7043.1, and U7077. It secures the right side of the nozzle bottom plate so the brush roll housing stays closed while you clean.

A latch that has cracked or lost spring tension lets the bottom plate sag open during use, and air then bypasses the nozzle instead of pulling through the brush roll. The result is lost suction right at the floor. A new right-hand latch snaps the plate shut again for a tight seal.

  • Fits: Hoover Convertible 1030, U7019, U7021, U7039, U7041, U7043.1, U7077
  • Function: latches the right side of the nozzle bottom plate
  • Benefit: restores a sealed nozzle and full floor suction
  • Tip: inspect the belt and brush roll while the plate is open

The latch installs as a direct-fit replacement on the right side of the nozzle. Confirm your model number on the data plate before ordering so the closure seats correctly.
