We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Product details
Hoover part 440007787 is the carbon filter assembly for HushTone commercial uprights, part of the machine's Hexaguard filtration. Carbon does a different job from the pleated filters around it: it works on odour rather than particles, which is what makes it worth having in a vacuum used in occupied rooms.
Carbon is a consumable with a finite capacity. Once it is saturated it simply stops adsorbing, and no amount of tapping or rinsing brings it back. The first thing anyone notices is that the machine smells of whatever it last picked up. A carbon element that has also clogged with dust adds airflow restriction on top of that.
The assembly fits the Hoover CH54013 and CH54015, the CH54113 and CH54115, and the CH95413 and CH95415. Fit it as an assembly rather than trying to refresh the element inside it.
