We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The release pedal is the orange foot pedal that unlocks the handle on Hoover HushTone commercial uprights so the machine can be reclined. Hoover supplies it as part 440007797.
It is operated with a shoe, hundreds of times a day in commercial use, and it fails in one of two ways: the pedal snaps at the pivot, or it stops holding, so the handle drops out of the upright position on its own. A handle that will not lock upright is a machine that cannot be parked or wheeled between rooms, and an operator stops using it very quickly.
The pedal fits the Hoover CH54013, CH54015, CH54113, CH54115, CH95413 and CH95415. It is a mechanical part with no wiring, so the swap is straightforward once the nozzle end is accessible.
