We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The bag guard, or collar, is the black trim ring at the top of the bag assembly on a Kirby Heritage II, ordered as part 191684S. It finishes the join between the bag and the machine and shields the collar area underneath from knocks. It also fits the Heritage I, the Heritage II Legend and the Classic III 2CB.
Guards crack, split or go missing rather than wearing out, usually after the machine has been knocked over or the bag assembly has been forced during a service. Once it is gone the collar underneath is exposed to the next impact, and the top of the bag assembly looks unfinished in a way that is hard to ignore on an otherwise tidy machine.
Fitting a correct guard restores the original look and puts the protection back where it belongs, which matters most on machines that get moved around a lot.
