We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Product details
The Kirby floor polisher is driven by a belt off the main unit, and 301289S is the knurled replacement for it. The knurled surface is what gives it grip on the drive shaft under the load polishing puts on it, which is heavier and far more constant than vacuuming.
A belt on its way out slips before it snaps. The polisher heads slow under pressure, a rubber smell comes off the drive area, and the belt itself takes on a glazed, stretched look. These are consumables, and most owners who use the polisher regularly keep a spare in the accessory box.
It fits the polisher across a long run of Kirby machines: the Heritage I and II, Heritage II Legend and Legend II, the Classic Omega 1CB, the Tradition, Generation 3, G4, G5, G Six, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria and Sentria II.
