We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Kirby used more than one belt across its machines, and this is the knurled belt with the tread on the inside face, part 301291S, as fitted from the Heritage and Generation 3 era onward. The inside tread is the detail to check before ordering, because an outside-tread belt of the same diameter will not drive correctly.
The symptoms of a worn belt are consistent across the whole range. The brush roll turns slowly or stalls under carpet load, the machine smells of hot rubber after a few minutes of use, and the pile stops lifting the way it used to. A stretched belt can look perfectly intact while doing none of its job.
Fitment runs from the Dual Sanitronic 50, Classic I CR, Classic Omega 1CB and Classic III 2CB through the Tradition 3CB, Heritage I and II, Legend II, Generation 3, G4, G5, G Six, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria, Sentria II and the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.
