Product details

Black attachment grip for the Kirby Generation 6, part 225114. It sits at the tool end of the hose and is the handle you hold, with the socket that wands, crevice tools and nozzles push into.

The grip lives a hard life. It is the first thing to hit a stair edge when the hose slips, and it gets twisted every time an attachment goes on or comes off. Cracks start at the socket and work outward, and a split grip does two things at once: it becomes uncomfortable to hold, and it draws air at the break so the tool on the end goes weak while the machine sounds unchanged.

As well as the Generation 6 it is listed for the Avalir. Match the badge on your machine before ordering - the black grip is not the only one Kirby made, and the differences are easy to miss.
