We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. A Kirby's handle tube does not sit directly against the metal of the fork; a pair of insulators cushions it. Part 172159A supplies two of them, for the Kirby 505 and the Dual Sanitronic 50.
They are small parts doing a structural job, and when they wear or crumble the handle develops play. You feel it as a clunk when you change direction, a tube that rattles against the fork on hard floors, and steering that has gone vague, so the machine no longer goes exactly where you point it. On a vacuum of this age the insulators are usually still the originals and long overdue.
Because they work as a pair, the two-pack does one machine. Fit both while the handle tube is out rather than chasing the second one down later.
