Kirby Left Brush Lead/In-Li...

Product details

Part 602910 is the left brush lead with its in-line fuse, the wiring that carries current to one of the motor brushes on Kirby uprights. The fuse is built into the lead, so the two are replaced together.

This is the part behind the faults that look worst and are cheapest to fix. A blown in-line fuse leaves the machine completely dead with a good cord and a working switch, and a lead that has chafed or lost strands produces intermittent running, the motor cutting out and coming back as the machine is moved. If the fuse has blown, look for the reason before fitting a new one, since a jammed brush roll or a failing motor will take out the next one too.

It fits the Kirby Avalir, Avalir 2, Avalir Platinum and Sentria II. Unplug the machine before opening the motor housing.
