Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Kirby part 181185S is the mini em-tor box for the Heritage II, the rigid housing inside the outer bag that the paper bag mounts into and that airflow passes through on its way from the fan. It also covers the Heritage II Legend and the Legend II.

An em-tor box is not a filter and it does not wear out from use, but it does crack. A drop, an over-tightened bag change or simply decades of plastic ageing will split it at a corner or around the neck, and once it is cracked the seal is gone. The symptom is dust appearing inside the outer cloth bag or around the bag mount, and suction that has quietly fallen off because air is escaping before it reaches the bag.

Check the neck gasket while the box is out; the two fail together often enough that replacing both saves a second strip-down.
