Kirby's genuine OEM Nozzle Bumper in black fits the Avalir, Avalir 2, and Avalir Platinum. It rings the front of the nozzle and absorbs the small impacts of everyday cleaning, keeping furniture and baseboards free of scratches while shielding the nozzle housing.
A bumper takes the brunt of every bump into a chair leg or wall, and with age it grows brittle, cracks, or falls off entirely. Once it is gone, the hard nozzle edge can mark walls and dent trim. Replacing a worn bumper is an inexpensive way to protect your home and keep the vacuum looking sharp.
