Kirby Rear Cover Handle For...

$18.99

Product details

The rear cover for the handle fork on Kirby's Avalir machines is part 174514, and it comes complete with the lower cord hook already fitted. It suits the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.

This panel closes off the back of the fork, and it is exposed on a machine that gets tipped, carried and pushed into baseboards. Cracks usually start around the mounting points or at the cord hook, where the plastic takes the leverage of the cord being pulled off. A broken cover leaves the fork looking rough, rattles while you clean, and costs you the lower cord anchor at the same time.

Because the hook comes attached, this single part cures both faults at once. Confirm you have an Avalir-series machine before ordering, as the fork covers changed between Kirby generations.
