We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This replacement belt lifter cap spring (Part #144156) supplies the tension that holds the belt lifter cap in place on the Kirby Sanitronic VII. It keeps the lifter set where you position it.
With a broken or missing spring, the belt lifter will not stay in position, which makes it impossible to hold the brush roll reliably engaged or disengaged. A fresh spring restores the tension the cap needs so the lifter locks into carpet or bare-floor mode. It is a small part that governs whether the whole mechanism holds.
