This genuine OEM Kirby scuff plate protects the lower edge of the Avalir series against everyday knocks. It fits the Avalir, Avalir 2, and Avalir Platinum, mounting where the nozzle meets furniture, walls, and baseboards.
A cracked or worn scuff plate no longer shields the housing and can start marking the surfaces it touches. Fitting a fresh plate keeps both the vacuum and your furnishings protected. A sound plate also lets the nozzle glide along baseboards without leaving marks.
