This genuine OEM Kirby commutator bearing grease retainer washer is sold five per pack and fits Kirby motors from the Classic Omega 1CB and later. The washer holds grease at the commutator-end bearing so lubrication stays where it belongs.
When the retainer wears or is missing, grease migrates away from the bearing and the motor runs dry, noisy, and hot. Fresh washers keep the bearing properly lubricated and the motor running smoothly.
