Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Light gray is the finish SEBO uses for the height adjuster on its ESSENTIAL G machines and on the 300 and 350 MECHANICAL uprights, and 5174HG is the part number for it. The wheel selects how far the brush roller drops toward the floor, so a single machine can be set high for a deep domestic pile, low for a flat commercial loop, and lower still where a hard floor needs the head to sit close.
What fails is the detent mechanism inside the wheel. New, it stops firmly at each setting and you feel the step as you turn it. Worn, it slips past the stops, and from then on the head either scrubs a surface it should skim or rides above the carpet where the brush barely reaches the fibres. Users usually describe it as the setting not staying put, or the machine suddenly becoming hard to push on one particular rug. A replacement wheel puts a positive stop back at every position.
