Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Black-bodied AUTOMATIC X4 machines take this cover. Part 50783SE caps the power head and encloses the roller drive and its wiring, arriving as one finished piece so nothing has to be moved across from the old shell.
The reason to change it is rarely cosmetic. A split shell or a snapped retaining tab lets the head sit proud of the base, and once dust starts reaching the gear train the wear rate climbs quickly. A sound cover keeps that side of the machine closed up, and it also keeps the wiring to the head out of the way of the roller itself, which is the failure nobody wants to discover the slow way.
Damage here is almost always down to impact rather than age. The head is the part that meets stair risers, table legs and door thresholds, and a hard knock on a cold morning will crack the plastic where a warm one would not. Once a corner has gone, the remaining clips carry more load than they were meant to and the rest of the shell tends to follow within a season.
