This genuine ProTeam bag cover release latch (Part #104232) fits the 1200XP, 1500XP, ProForce 1200XP, and ProForce 1500XP, along with the ProForce 1500 HEPA. The latch releases the bag cover so you can reach and change the bag.
A worn or broken latch will not hold the bag cover closed or will not release cleanly, so the cover pops open in use or fights you at bag-change time. A loose cover can also break the seal around the bag. A fresh genuine latch restores a secure, easy-opening cover.
