This genuine SEBO Retaining Ring for the K2 hose (gray black) secures the hose coupling on the K2 canister, holding the connection tight where the hose locks into the machine. It is the ring specified for the K2 hose fitting.
A worn or cracked retaining ring lets the hose coupling loosen, so air leaks at the joint or the hose works free and suction drops. Fitting the correct OEM ring re-secures the coupling and returns a tight, sealed connection.
