Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Steering on an upright lives in the neck, and part 2823UL replaces that joint whole. The light gray assembly fits the SEBO ESSENTIAL G1 and SEBO ESSENTIAL G2, and it comes with SEBO slider 5328OR already fitted, so nothing has to be salvaged from the damaged unit.
A neck that has worn loose makes the machine wander off the line you push it along and refuse to hold a lean. Left long enough, the slack also works the cables passing through the joint, which turns a handling complaint into an electrical one — a machine that cuts out as the handle is lowered has usually been steering badly for months. Changing the assembly is the cleaner fix because the pivot faces and the slider are renewed together, rather than a worn slider being asked to work against a worn casting.
Take a photograph of the cable routing before anything comes apart. The loom has to sit the same way in the new neck or it will chafe again in the same spot, and there is no second chance once the joint is closed up. While the neck is off, the supports and bearings either side of it are the parts to look at: right-hand support 2824, left-hand support 5479, swivel neck bearing 2825 and left-hand bearing 5717 all wear in step with the joint they carry, and a neck that has been slack for a long time rarely leaves them untouched.
