Titan Power Nozzle Cord - T...

$19.99

Product details

The power nozzle cord, part 571005113, carries current down to the motorized floor head on the Titan TCS973. It is the length of cord that flexes every time the wand is swung, which is exactly why it is the part that eventually fails.

Damage starts inside. Strands break where the cord enters the nozzle or the wand, and the nozzle then works intermittently, cutting out when the wand is at a certain angle and coming back when it is straightened. Cracked or chafed insulation is the more serious version of the same problem and is worth acting on immediately rather than taping over.

Unplug the machine before starting. Route the new cord along the same path as the original and clip it where the old one was secured, so it stays clear of the hinge and out of pinch points.
