Product details

This motor turns the brush roll inside Wessel Werk EBK360 and EBK361 power nozzles, sold as part 10.9048-314. When the brush roll stops turning while the vacuum still pulls normal suction, the motor is the usual cause once the belt has been ruled out.

A worn belt slips off or snaps and leaves the brush roll free-spinning by hand; a failed motor leaves the brush roll stiff or unmoving even with the belt removed. Check the belt first since it is the cheaper part, then test the motor directly if the brush roll still will not turn.

A motor that hums when powered but does not turn, even with the belt removed, has failed internally and needs replacing. A motor that turns freely by hand but will not start under power more often points to the wiring or the switch feeding it rather than to the motor itself, so check those connections before ordering.

It is listed for the Wessel Werk EBK360 and EBK361 power nozzles. Confirm your nozzle model before ordering, since Wessel Werk motors vary by nozzle generation and are not universally interchangeable.

  • Part: 10.9048-314, power nozzle motor.
  • Fits: Wessel Werk EBK360, EBK361.
  • Symptom: brush roll will not turn with the belt removed, ruling out a belt failure.
  • Diagnosis: a motor that hums without turning has failed internally; one that turns by hand but won't start under power may be a wiring issue.
