Power nozzles run their brush motor through a safety interlock, and this micro switch is the sensor behind it. Part 10.4015-300 fits the Wessel Werk EBK340 and EBK341, reading nozzle position and passing power to the brush roll motor only when the head is where it should be.
A failed switch shows itself in three ways, all worth acting on. The nozzle does not start at all; it cuts out at random while you clean; or, the one that matters, the brush keeps turning when the head is tipped up and it should have stopped. That last one is the interlock not doing its job.
Replacing the switch restores dependable, interlocked motor control. Photograph or note the wire routing before disconnecting the old one, and never bypass the switch to get a nozzle running.
