This elbow joint connects the hose to a Wessel Werk EBK340 or EBK361 power nozzle, with a button lock built into the fitting so the hose stays secured rather than relying on friction alone. Part 10.9011-316 replaces the joint as a complete assembly.
An elbow joint like this pivots every time the nozzle changes direction, which is exactly where the wear concentrates. Over years of use the joint can loosen until the connection feels sloppy during normal pushing and pulling, or the button lock itself can wear down until it no longer catches solidly, letting the joint pull apart under load rather than staying locked through the stroke. A connection that comes apart when you lift the nozzle by the wand, or a button that no longer springs back up firmly after being pressed, points at the lock rather than at the joint itself.
This elbow fits the Wessel Werk EBK340 and EBK361 power nozzle. Push the parts fully together until the button clicks after installing, since a joint that seats only partway will work itself loose again quickly. Give the connection a firm pull once it is seated to confirm the lock has actually caught before putting the nozzle back into regular use.
