This genuine SEBO Anti-static Wire fits the SEBO X series and G series uprights. It forms the grounding path that carries away the static charge generated as air and debris move through the machine.
If the anti-static wire is broken or its contact has corroded, static can no longer drain safely and instead builds until it discharges as a shock at the handle. That charge also draws fine dust to the housing. Replacing the wire re-establishes a continuous ground and returns comfortable, shock-free operation.
