SEBO Brush Drive Cog for th...

Product details

The toothed wheel at position 68 of SEBO's Duo parts diagram is what hands drive over to the brush, and part 3007 replaces it. Once the teeth round off or strip, the drive skips under load: the brush slows or stops while the motor carries on running, and the carpet gets worked unevenly across the width of the machine.

Cog wear usually announces itself as a chatter that comes and goes with resistance rather than a steady noise, which is a useful way of telling it apart from a dry bearing. The cog does not work alone, and the parts either side of it on the drawing tend to fail together: the spring at 67, part 3028, that keeps pressure on the connection; the pulley at 66, part 3009; the bearing block at 69, part 3074HG; and the left-hand bearing block assembly at 70, part 3052HG. All are exposed in the same teardown, so it is worth looking at them before everything goes back together rather than opening the machine twice.

  • Part number: 3007
  • Diagram position: 68 on the SEBO Duo parts diagram
  • Fits: the SEBO Duo brush machine
  • Role: toothed cog that transmits drive to the brush
  • Sold: individually
  • Related numbers: 3028 spring at 67, 3009 pulley at 66, 3074HG bearing block at 69, 3052HG bearing block assembly LH at 70

Ordering by name alone is risky on this machine, since the drive group runs from position 51 through to 72 and several of the components look similar on the bench. Matching the diagram number to what came out is the fastest way to get the right item first time. A SEBO brush drive cog, a Duo drive cog and part 3007 are all the same component under different search terms. Genuine SEBO part supplied by an authorized dealer. Ships in 2-5 business days.
