Position 47 on SEBO's Duo parts drawing is a small light gray cover, and part 2022HG is it. The neck cover closes over the swivel joint where the handle meets the machine on the SEBO Duo, finishing the pivot and keeping it enclosed.
Its job sounds modest and is not. Once the cover has split or gone missing, the joint sits open to fluff, hair and grit, all of which end up somewhere they were never meant to be. Broken retaining tabs also have a habit of taking their neighbours with them: with one tab gone the remaining ones carry more strain each time the cover is flexed, and the failure spreads across the moulding rather than staying where it started. A cover held on by half its clips rattles, then works loose, then disappears.
Refitting the correct part puts the joint back under wraps and tidies the machine at the same time. Light gray is the finish specified here, so match it against the machine before ordering. The cover comes away and goes back without touching anything mechanical inside the neck, which makes this one of the more straightforward repairs on the Duo.
