Product details

This replacement tank valve adapter plate (Part #1710580000) connects the clean water tank to the valve assembly on Dirt Devil, Hoover, Regina, and Royal carpet cleaners. It routes cleaning solution from the tank toward the spray nozzles.

If the plate cracks or warps, water leaks at the connection point instead of flowing through to the nozzles, so less solution reaches the carpet. A tight, flat adapter plate seals that junction and keeps the cleaning solution on its intended path. Replacing a warped plate restores proper spray delivery.
