Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This replacement drive belt, part 430000924, runs from the motor to spin the brush roll on the Hoover BH55500 and CH95519 and the Oreck BK95519, along with the Oreck U7070, U7240, UK30300 and UK30200.
Once this belt stretches, glazes, or snaps, the brush roll stops turning even though suction keeps working, so the vacuum still runs but stops pulling dirt up out of carpet fibers. On a cordless machine that symptom is easy to blame on a fading battery, so listen to the motor first: full motor speed with a still brush roll points at the belt. Installing a fresh belt restores full brush roll drive.

While the belt is off, it is worth turning the brush roll by hand and checking the bristle ends for wear, since a tired brush roll can mimic the same symptoms as a bad belt. Because this one part number is listed against machines sold under two different brand names, go by the model number printed on your own unit rather than by how the machine looks, and if that number is not one of the seven listed above, ask us before ordering. A vacuum with good suction from the motor that still leaves debris behind on carpet almost always points to the belt rather than the motor.
