We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The upper collar, Oreck part 430001002, is the structural ring where the handle meets the body on the U7000ECB upright and on the BK95519 and Hoover CH95519 machines.
Every time the vacuum is reclined, pushed or pulled back upright, the leverage of the entire handle is concentrated at this one ring. Collars split along the molding line or crack around a fastener, and once that happens the handle picks up a wobble that grows fast: first it feels vague to steer, then the handle starts pulling away from the body at the joint.
Caught early this is a small part and a straightforward repair. Left alone, the movement works on everything around it, so a collar with visible cracking is worth changing before the housing has to take the load.
