Machined to precise tolerances, this genuine OEM Kirby bearing plate assembly supports the motor shaft in your Kirby vacuum and keeps it in proper alignment. It sits at the motor end of the machine, where accurate shaft support is what keeps the motor turning smoothly.
A worn bearing plate lets the shaft drift out of alignment, which causes motor vibration, noise, and premature bearing failure. Replacing it restores smooth, quiet running and protects the motor. If you notice excessive vibration or a grinding sound, the bearing plate is a likely cause.
