Kirby Bumper Nozzle - Gen 5

$19.99

Product details

The bumper nozzle is the protective trim wrapping the front of the Kirby Generation 5 cleaning head, taking the knocks when the machine meets a baseboard, a table leg or a door frame. Kirby part 140497 is the replacement for that trim on the G5.

Bumpers get chewed up long before anything mechanical fails. What you notice is scuffing on furniture and trim, a bumper that has split or gone brittle, or a piece that has worked loose and rattles as you push. None of that stops the vacuum, but it does mean the nozzle shell is now taking impacts directly.

Fitment here is narrow. This is the Generation 5 bumper, not a shared part across the Generation series, so check the model badge on your machine before ordering rather than assuming a G4 or G6 takes the same trim.
