We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Pack of five brush roll end caps, Kirby part 156493S, for the Generation series and the machines that followed it: the G4, G5, Generation 6, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria, Sentria II, Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.
The end cap closes the end of the roller and holds it centered in the nozzle. When one wears, the roll gains a little side-to-side play, and that play shows up as a wobble. The bristles hit the carpet harder on one side than the other, the belt starts to wander in its track, and the noise from the head changes.
Caps are worth replacing at the same time as bearings, since both are consumed by the same wear and both sit behind the same disassembly. Five in a pack covers a couple of services.
