We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The machine-end hose connector for the Kirby Generation 3, part 211089S. It is the fitting that joins the hose to the vacuum body when the machine is set up for above-floor cleaning.
Connectors crack at the collar and wear round at the locking face, and the effect is easy to misread. Suction at the attachment falls away, so people replace the hose or the tools when in fact air is leaking straight in at the machine end. A connector that will not stay put under a gentle tug is past its working life.
It fits the Kirby Generation 3. Note that the gasket is a separate part and is not supplied with the connector, and a hardened, flattened gasket leaks just as effectively as a cracked connector, so it is worth replacing the pair at once.
